WatermarkedCleanedHow to remove the Gemini watermark in three steps
- 1
Use the original download
Save the image or video with Gemini's own download button. The tool predicts where the mark sits from the file's exact pixel size, so screenshots and resized copies can make the mark harder to detect.
- 2
Pick the Images or Video tab
Images takes PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 50 MB each, several at once. Video takes one MP4, WebM or MOV up to 500 MB.
- 3
Check the corner, then save
Each cleaned image gets a Download PNG button at the original size, plus Download all when two or more are done. Videos come back as an MP4 with the same resolution and length, and the audio is kept when your browser can copy the track.
Why this Gemini watermark remover reverses the mark instead of repainting it
It reverses the blend, it does not paint over it
Gemini lays its sparkle over the image at a known transparency. The tool reverses that blend to reconstruct what was under the mark, instead of asking an AI model to guess. On flat illustrations a very faint outline can remain.
Nothing is uploaded
Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to our servers. The page loads the program once, then all the work happens in your own browser tab.
It knows the Gemini layouts we tested
Older outputs use a 48 px mark with a 32 px margin or a 96 px mark with a 64 px margin. Since June 2026 Gemini also uses other spots, such as 42 px, or 96 px set 192 px in on 2752 x 1536 images. All of these layouts were removed in our tests.
It tells you when there is nothing to remove
Each result is checked before it is applied. If no Gemini mark is found, the Gemini watermark remover leaves your image unchanged: you get a note saying so instead of a download.

What people clean Gemini images for
Common jobs people bring to a Gemini watermark remover, from slide decks to posters.
Slides and reports
A generated chart backdrop or title image sits in the bottom-right of a slide, right where the sparkle would land next to your page number.
Product mockups
Packaging and shelf shots for a pitch, where a corner logo pulls the eye away from the product.
Blog and newsletter headers
Wide 16:9 headers get cropped differently by each platform, and a corner mark can end up in odd places.
Short social clips
Vertical Gemini videos for Reels or Shorts, cleaned in the Video tab, which keeps the audio when the browser can copy the track.
Prints and posters
At print size the sparkle is easy to spot, and cropping it away would cut into the composition.
Drafts for a client
Concept images you show before the final work, where the mark distracts from the idea being discussed.
How reverse alpha blending reconstructs the corner
Gemini does not paste an opaque logo. It mixes a white sparkle into the picture at a fixed strength per pixel: what you see equals a share of white plus the rest of the original. Because that share is the same on every Gemini file of a given size, it can be measured once.
The engine looks up your image size in a catalog of Gemini output sizes, searches near the predicted spot, and then runs the mix backwards: subtract the white share, divide by what is left. That reconstructs the pixels under the mark from the known transparency map, though on flat illustrations a very faint outline can remain. The Gemini watermark remover on this page runs an open source engine (MIT licence) by GargantuaX, a JavaScript port of allenk's Gemini Watermark Tool.
Why a Gemini watermark cleaner can miss the mark
Mistake: Feeding it a screenshot of the image
Do this instead: Download the file from Gemini. A screenshot has a different size and scale, so the mark may no longer be where the catalog expects it.
Mistake: Cropping or resizing before removal
Do this instead: Remove the watermark first, then crop or resize the clean PNG as much as you like.
Mistake: Using a copy that went through a chat app
Do this instead: Messaging apps can recompress images and blur the mark's edges. Use the copy you saved straight from Gemini.
Mistake: Judging flat pastel art at 400 % zoom
Do this instead: On flat or vector-style art a very faint outline can remain when zoomed in. Check at normal viewing size, where it is hard to see.
Mistake: Expecting the image to pass an AI detector
Do this instead: Only the visible mark is removed. Google's invisible SynthID stays, so detection tools can still tell it is AI-made.
What the Gemini watermark remover does and does not do
Free with no limit
No account, no daily cap, no watermark of our own added to the result, and no ads at launch.
Private by design
Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to our servers. Since nothing reaches our servers, there is nothing on our side to store or delete.
Limits
Images up to 50 MB each, videos up to 500 MB. The first video run downloads the video engine, up to about 30 MB, which the browser then caches. Use a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari; video works best in desktop Chrome or Edge.
Visible mark only
SynthID, Google's invisible watermark, is left in place. We do not promise an image that AI detectors cannot identify.
